The person behind the diary
P. Avila.
Trisha Woolen.
Author of The Orb: The Truth That Follows Me.

P. Avila is the writing name of Trisha Woolen, the creator of Project Tagalong. Her memoir, The Orb: The Truth That Follows Me, brings together her personal accounts, photographs and questions about experiences she has struggled to explain.
The website’s film diary begins in Pembroke Dock, Wales, in August 2022. It continues with recordings from California and places she traveled to, including Mexico, Costa Rica, Kauai and the Bahamas. Trisha describes making the videos and photographs with her iPhone. Family and friends appear in some of the footage, watching and reacting alongside her.
In her filmed introduction, she explains why she began keeping a diary and sharing the material. Her account retains uncertainty about what she recorded. Dates, places, original descriptions and available captions give readers a way to explore it directly.
The book also recounts an earlier experience in Indio, California, in 1976. The later films are presented as their own dated record. The free book companion connects readers to specific films and photographs referenced in the memoir, without replacing the book itself.
