Using Project Tagalong
These terms apply to this Project Tagalong website and its community features. Please read them before submitting a story, uploading media, or joining the community. By submitting through these features, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not submit.

Personal accounts and curiosity
The films, book, and community stories describe personal experiences, observations, and interpretations. Sharing an account does not mean that its explanation has been independently verified or that Project Tagalong endorses every contribution.
You are welcome to be curious, to disagree respectfully, and to form your own view. Information on this site is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or other advice.
Your stories and media
You retain ownership of the original material you contribute. By submitting it, you give Project Tagalong a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, and display it as part of this website and its community features, including the feed and map. This permission is limited to operating and presenting those features.
Share only material you own or have permission to use. Make sure you have permission to include identifiable people and that you are entitled to share any information in your contribution.
Stories and attachments appear immediately to everyone who can access the site. Your display name, location, date, optional hometown and map pin are part of the contribution. Your email is not displayed. Read the public-sharing details before uploading.
Please do not use community submission or membership forms if you are under 13. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms where you live, ask a parent or guardian to review them and assist you.
Taking care of the community
Please keep this a considerate place for people to share what they experienced.
- Do not post threats, harassment, hate, illegal content, or another person’s private contact or location details.
- Do not impersonate someone, post misleading material as your own experience, or upload content that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Do not use the forms for spam, advertising, malicious files, or attempts to interfere with the service.
- Describe media clearly in your story so people who cannot see or hear it can still understand what you are sharing.
We may remove contributions or restrict access to address misuse, rights concerns, or legal requirements. Contributions are not checked before they appear, and reporting does not automatically hide them.
Concerns, corrections, and removal
Email Info@projecttagalong.com with the story link and a brief explanation to request a correction or removal, report a rights concern, or raise a problem that needs a response. If the contribution is yours, use the email address you submitted with it where possible.
The on-site “Report a concern” action only records a flag. It does not send a message to the team or guarantee review within a particular time. There is no automatic deletion or self-service editing feature.
When your content is removed, we stop displaying it through the affected community features. Copies already saved by other visitors are outside our control; technical backup copies may remain for a period.
The films, book, and site design
The book, original films, text, artwork, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Viewing the site or buying a book does not transfer ownership of that material.
You may share links to the site and use material as permitted by law. For other reproduction or commercial use, ask the relevant rights holder for permission. These terms do not restrict lawful quotation, fair use, or other statutory exceptions.
Other platforms and book purchases
Vimeo, Instagram, TikTok, and other linked services operate independently and have their own terms. Their content and availability may change.
Book orders are placed with the linked retailer. The retailer handles payment, delivery, returns, refunds, and order support under its own terms. Project Tagalong does not process purchases on this website.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the site useful and available, but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, or permanent storage of contributions. Keep your own copy of anything important that you upload.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its content are provided as available, without warranties of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility or limits consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.
Updates and questions
We may update these terms as the site changes. The revision date appears at the top of this page. The terms in place when you submit apply to that submission; a later update does not expand the permission you already granted for your content without your agreement.
